Please join us for Coding and Robotics for Youth Services Librarians
A one-hour webinar
Friday, September 13, 2019
3:30pm to 4:30pm
Online from the comfort of your own screen
Want to offer coding or robotics for your patrons, but have no idea where to start? Join us for a webinar-based conversation with Associate Computer Science Professor, Dr. Jim Huggins from Kettering University. In this webinar, Dr. Huggins will discuss a number of simple activities for exposing middle school and high school students to computer science. The activities require little-to-no computing background for participants (or their leaders!), and some can be done without using computers at all.
Sponsored by the Children’s & Teen Services Committee at Woodlands Library Cooperative.
Free for all to attend.
If technology behaves, the webinar will be recorded & archived for future viewing.
