The Braille and Talking Book Library (BTBL) offers accessible reading materials in audio and braille formats. Public Library Demo Sites are assigned one of our Digital Talking Book Machines to have on hand to show patrons that come into their branches. There are no circulating items or specific requirements for Demo Sites. We provide promotional materials like brochures, applications, posters, etc. Each Demo Site functions in whatever capacity helps their patrons the most. Here are some ways Demo Sites partner with us:

Keep in mind I am happy to meet virtually for staff trainings or one-on-one discussions- please contact me directly with requests at wambaughs@michigan.gov. I can also get additional materials on the way if you are in need. Please feel free to reach out directly with any questions or requests.

I hope you had a successful Summer Reading Program and can take a quick breather before you start planning for next year!

Thanks,

Stephanie Wambaugh, Librarian 12
