Hello,

MeL Minute – Workforce Skills for 21st Century Success

Not all returning students in the fall are kids and teens.  Many individuals want or need to improve and develop workforce skills to help them advance in their current job or find their next opportunity.  MeL has a specialized resource to help them along.   A product of LearningExpress Library, Workforce Skills for 21st Century Success  includes resources to improve workplace writing, communication and math skills; prepare for career entrance tests, licensing and certification exams in 17 career fields; utilize job search and resume tools; and  improve computer skills.  Workforce Skills for 21st Century Success is found in the alphabetic list of MeL Databases and MeL Jobs GatewayMichigan residents or Michigan library access only.

MeL Minutes are brought to you by the Library of Michigan.  Want more information on MeL?  Stay tuned for next week’s MeL Minute available on many Michigan library listservs, email us at contact@mel.org or visit Michigan.gov/mel.  We encourage you to share MeL Minutes with your public service colleagues.
