The Friends of Michigan Libraries (FOML) will hold its Spring 2015 workshop and annual membership meeting on Thursday, April 23, at the Rochester Hills Public Library. The workshop will focus on community engagement and how friends can promote the value of the library. Also featured will be the first Fred Ruffner Symposium with a presentation by a keynote speaker in honor and in memory of Fred Ruffner, who was an ardent supporter of Friends and their activities.
On Friday, April 24, the FOML Trustee Alliance workshop will focus on the theme “Strategic Thinking, Strategic Planning: How Trustees Can Plan for Success.” This workshop will also be held at the Rochester Hills Public Library.
