Preferred Qualifications:
▪  Specialized knowledge or a degree in a scientific, technical, engineering or medical subject area.

Job Specific Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Information and Library Science from a program accredited by the American Library Association. One to three years professional library experience.
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
•  Advanced knowledge of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices related to library document services and interlibrary loan.
• Excellent working knowledge of copyright, fair use, and other intellectual property issues as they pertain to library resources.
• Advanced-level facility with library systems, including OCLC, library system platforms such as Alma, electronic resource management and digital repositories.
• Ability to meet deadlines, lead teams of peers, work independently, apply policies and procedures consistently, conduct research, and present recommendations. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage conflicting priorities.
• Advanced-level skills with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, team skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
