Another note about Liberians………..

Years ago, I was reading the paper & had just started wearing glasses.  However, I didn’t have my glasses with me.  I saw a headline that said, “Librarians Released from Captivity”.   I yelled out to my family, “Oh my gosh!  Someone kidnapped some librarians somewhere.  What in the world is this place coming to!”  My family thought that was pretty weird, came over to look at the paper and said as they were laughing at me, “It’s Liberians, mom, not librarians.”  Of course my response was, “Well, thank goodness for that!”  Lucky my kids love me, otherwise they’d likely try to trade me in for someone normal!
