At that time, nonprofit Michigan organizations can begin submitting grant requests to bring Touring performers, storytellers and cultural programming into their communities. All grant-funded events must be held between Oct. 10, 2013, and Aug. 17, 2014. Applications must be submitted through the online portal from the humanities council. Funds are available on first-come, first-serve basis.
