On Wednesday, October 27, at 7:00 pm EDT, the Clarke Historical Library at Central Michigan University will host the third of four presentations as part of the Clarke's Virtual Fall Speakers Series (you can find the entire line-up on the Clarke's website<https://www.cmich.edu/library/clarke/publicprograms/current_exhibit/pages/default.aspx#speakers>). An industry with a long history in Michigan and that has a major impact on today's economy, brewing relies on clean water to create high-quality beer. Kris Spaulding, president and owner of Brewery Vivant in Grand Rapids, will discuss the history and importance of water and sustainability in Michigan's world-class craft brewing industry. Joining her for this conversation will be Margrethe Kearney, a senior attorney with the Environmental Law and Policy Center.
