I have a personal account at TCF Bank. I used to take the library's coins to TCF and cash them out to deposit into the library's account.  TCF Bank was one of the last banking chains to offer free coin machines.  Since COVID-19, many TCF banks have removed their coin machines and the remaining machines are no longer easy to locate.  TCF now also charges 1.5% to exchange coins for bills for account holders of free checking/savings.

Subject: [Michlib-l] What do you do with your change?

My library's bank no longer has a coin machine, so I'm wondering what everyone else does with their change. Coinstar, handrolling etc?

Thanks!
