Instead of looking at library vendors, one option is to use a photo sharing resource such as Flickr (from yahoo.com). From a very active Flickr user, this presentation will showcase how you can use this free resource to promote, organize and share your digital assets. Of particular note is using Flickr groups and tagging to make items from your collection accessible and findable by community residents as well as people all over the world. The presentation will also explore how different libraries are using Flickr for collections and program-related images.
