What does keeping informed and being a member have in common?  The answer:  access to information.

This posting is a reminder to the library community that the Library of Michigan has purchased a statewide membership with United for Libraries for all Michigan public libraries. Membership includes access to Trustee training, Friends resources, and more.  You can access this information at www.ala.org/united/michigan.

A further reminder to library directors, library staff, Friends and Trustees:  Have you renewed your annual membership or taken out a new membership in the Friends of Michigan Libraries (FOML) and the Trustee Alliance?  FOML memberships are low-cost and provide support for the ongoing activities of the organization to include workshop training and advocacy.  For Friends membership go to http://foml.org/membership/ and for Trustees membership go to http://fomltrusteealliance.org/membership/
