The East Lansing Public Library is considering switching from having library cards with the account numbers & barcodes already printed on them to a library card printer with blank cards – either a machine that can print directly on a blank card, or one that can print out labels that we can stick on the cards. Preferably the former, as printed labels tend to peel off over time. Does anyone have experience with either type of printer & could point us in the direction of a good system? Hearing more about your experiences, pros/cons, etc. would be helpful. Thanks!
