LIBRARY IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST – MAIN LIBRARY

 

 

Position:

 

Library IT Support Specialist – Full-time (35 hours a week), including nights and weekends

 

 

Qualifications:

 

·         High school diploma/equivalent

·         Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and Windows desktop operating systems.

·         Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair computers and peripherals.

·         Team-oriented with the ability to build effective working relationships.

·         Strong time management and organizational abilities.

·         Ability to work with minimal supervision

·         Ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical users.

·         Positive service attitude.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Responsible for installation, upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting of software and hardware.

·         Performs first review of helpdesk requests in all formats and channels. Handles requests or escalates as appropriate.

·         Assists with system administration and maintenance for Windows-based multi-server environment (file sharing, Active Directory, etc.)

·         Responsible for onboarding new staff accounts, and modifying existing staff accounts, for all library systems.

·         Assist with the setup, enrollment, and troubleshooting of devices through the library’s Mobile Device Management (MDM) system.

·         Responsible for completing strategic plan objectives as assigned by the Director of IT.

Starting Range of Pay:

 

$25.92 - $30.95
