Tuesday, June 2  the Braille and Talking Book Library (BTBL) is hosting another Libraries Without Walls conference.  This year’s conference theme is Open Access … Removing Barriers … Creating Opportunities for All. 

 

This one-day conference runs from 9:00-4:00 at the Lansing community college west campus 5708 Cornerstone Dr, Lansing. 

 

The target audience is librarians, educators, patrons, and other interested parties.  Cost is $15 which includes morning refreshments, lunch, and an afternoon snack. 

 

The keynote speaker is Brian MacDonald, President National Braille Press (NBP). 

 

After the keynote there are breakout sessions at 11:00-12:00, 1:30-2:30, and 2:45-3:45.
