Hi!  Right off the bat I got a great reply from Darcy at Houghton Lake – so I’ve ordered these:

http://www.bettercontainers.com/L2035C-16-X-18-X-003-CLEAR-LOVE-MY-LIBRARY-POLY-BAGS-PACKED-500CASE-_p_272.html

$111 for 500.

But, if you have another source that you still want to send me – I’ll be glad to see what you have for next time

Thank you

Subject: [Michlib-l] reuseable bag source

Hi!

We’re looking for an alternative to the used flimsy plastic grocery bags we give to our patrons now to bring home materials.   Just looks kind of tacky and they don’t hold much.  We’re looking at both plastic bags (larger and stronger) or, better yet,  the recycled polypropylene reusable bags (sort of look like mesh close up).

Does anyone have a type of bag and source that they could recommend?  And, if you have the recycled mesh kind – do you sell them or give them away?

Thanks!
