Posted on behalf of the Beyond the Numbers conference of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis for librarians interested in data. Come join us! ============================================================= Beyond the Numbers - "The Data Ecosystem" (November 7-9, 2018) Preliminary Schedule and Registration are available on the conference website, *https://research.stlouisfed.org/conferences/beyond-the-numbers/ <https://research.stlouisfed.org/conferences/beyond-the-numbers/>*, for this third biennial conference on economic information at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Speakers from the Census, World Bank, Board of Governors, and the OECD are enthusiastic about meeting with librarians. With a focus on practical information and data literacy, this will be a worthwhile program for all who attend. The conference is free and the presentations are terrific (lunch provided, too!). "The data ecosystem" encompasses all the institutions and people involved in the production, management, and use of economic data, from the newest undergraduate student to the seasoned librarian to the venerable economist. This conference will bring together librarians, information professionals, data researchers, and data managers to improve understanding of economic resources and how to find, use, and share them. We encourage users, creators, curators, and managers of economic, business, and financial information to share their expertise and provide insights into the challenges they face. *Katrina Stierholz* Vice President & Director of Library and Research Information Services Research Division Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis 314-444-8552 Katrina.L.Stierholz@stls.frb.org -- Kristin Fontichiaro University of Michigan School of Information 4427 North Quad 105 S.
