[Michlib-l] AV materials and automated material handling systems

Hi, everyone. I am seeking feedback from libraries using automated material handling systems. How are you handling AV items? Are those items being sorted into special handling bins? We are concerned about items with missing or mis-matched discs. The vendor we met with indicated that their system goes by weight and it's "pretty reliable" about catching items returned with missing discs. Would you mind sharing your workflows and solutions?
