Subject: Attention Library Directors! URGENT - Please take this short 4 question survey on providing curbside library service

IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED - We need to hear from you! Please share your thoughts concerning instituting curbside service at your library to help us advocate for the safest most efficient reopening of our libraries. Take our short four question survey by 12pm, Wednesday, April 29: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YXQHK7Z
In light of Governor Whitmer’s new Executive Order 2020-59 and a previous Executive Order 2020-43, temporarily restricting the use of places of public accommodation (naming libraries specifically), MLA has an opportunity to advocate directly to the Governor about the eventual reopening of libraries in the safest and most efficient manner.

MLA is interested in your opinion right now concerning curbside services. The Governor's office is requesting we provide this information as soon as possible.

We are asking Michigan library directors to weigh in and respond by noon on Wednesday, April 29.

Please take a moment to respond to four simple questions that will help guide MLA in our advocacy efforts. We will report our findings at the Library of Michigan directors meeting on Friday, May 1.
