
Yes, I was looking at this yesterday, too. Unfortunately, it basically means that Intuit is pulling Quickbooks out of TechSoup for all but first-time licenses. A discount on installed Quickbook software through TechSoup can be requested for each version and used without renewing until a new one is released. A discount on a Quickbooks subscription, regardless of online or installed, is only offered "one within the lifetime of the organization" (https://www.techsoup.org/restrictions#intuit). If you use Intuit QuickBooks Desktop Pro it will still be continued. You do not have to move to online if you choose not to. it will not be available for new subscribers. I talked with the Intuit representative yesterday.
