Read Woke Challenge

Sept. 15–Oct. 31

This new reading challenge encourages children, teens and adults to discover diverse books. It features recommended titles that were selected by our staff to reflect a wide variety of cultures, places and experiences, as a way of promoting dignity and respect for all.  The challenge is to read the books listed in categories such as Social Injustice, Diverse Abilities, and Hispanic American Voices. After completing three of the ten categories, participants will earn a prize and be entered into drawings for items like books, T-shirts and totebags.

Visit cadl.org/woke to sign up. (print ad is attached)
