The 2026 Michigan Academic Library Association (MiALA) Conference Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the availability of multiple scholarships to support attendance at the Annual Conference
for current MiALA members.
The MiALA Conference,
Finding Our True North: Creating Connections to Light Our Way, will be held at the
Park Place Hotel & Conference Center in downtown Traverse City on May 7 & 8, 2026, with pre-conference events taking place on Wednesday, May 6.
Steven
M. Adams will be our keynote speaker. Steven's current research and workshop design projects explore the role of curiosity in creating and sustaining engaging workplace cultures.
The MiALA Conference Scholarship will cover the cost of full conference registration, as well as reimbursement for up to two nights lodging in the conference hotel. The scholarship recipient
and/or recipient's institution will be expected to cover any remaining conference costs. Applications close March 1, 2026! Learn more here:
