I just want to alert everyone to the Library of Michigan’s newly released Michigan Notable Books Author Conversations video series. Current circumstances prompted us to modify this year’s Michigan Notable Books tour to a virtual platform
to highlight the 2020 Notable Books Authors/Titles. The video series provides fascinating and insightful conversations with a majority of this year’s authors, much like the Extra Features included on movies released on DVD. Most are interviews with authors
by LM’s Head of Special Collections Tim Gleisner, while other videos are individual presentations by the authors themselves. State Librarian Randy Riley also jumped in with interviewing author Dean Kuipers, who wrote
The Deer Camp: A Memoir of a Father, A Family, and the Land That Healed Them.
All the videos are available on YouTube and were previously posted on the Library of Michigan’s Facebook/Twitter accounts. We encourage everyone to utilize them as additional content for your library’s social media platforms or for other
