Amari and the Night Brothers was a really fun middle grade read. It's a modern diverse fantasy and I think was published like 2021 so you shouldn't have trouble getting copies. I feel like a lot of kids would enjoy that. I hope you find some great recs and get a nice group going!

Hi all,
I am starting a new book club for 5th and 6th graders and am trying to find some great book recommendations for our meetings. I would like to have about 4 for them to choose from at each monthly meeting, each book from a different genre.
Do you have any recommendations? I would like titles that are fairly new (2019 and newer), but not so new that we won't be able to borrow copies for them to read.
