Hi Everyone,

CADL is happy to announce that a Library of Things Map is now available at cadl.org/ThingsMap!

Please help us populate it by filling out the form with your library’s Library of Things information.  Please only submit libraries/places that charge no rental, subscription, or usage fees. Anything beyond what is considered traditional (books, movies, cds, etc.) is welcomed.

Also, please feel free to send us any feedback that you have.

Thank you!

Hi Amber,

Our fantastic Library of Things Specialist, Jessica Goodrich, approached me about your email. As far as she knows, no map like the Fines Free map exists. But, this is a great idea!  CADL would be willing to start one and send it out via Michlib-l. We currently use Google Maps, similar to the Fine Free map you mentioned, to map our StoryWalks, so have some experience.

We would be happy to work on this with you. Other MI Libraries, please stay tune or contact us for more information.

Thank you,

Scott

Michigan Library Community,

Does anyone know if there is map, like the Fine Free map (https://endlibraryfines.info/fine-free-library-map/), that shows how many libraries are operating a “Library of Things?”

If not, is there any way we could create one for Michigan?
