For those who do not receive the MASP email newsletter, peer reviewer applications are open for the 24-25 MI-OST grants. I did this last year and it was a great experience and I learned a lot about grant writing by reviewing applications.

2024-2025 Grant Peer Reviewer Application

Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) Office of Education Partnerships, OST Grants Program, in partnership with Michigan Afterschool Partnership (MASP) calls for grant reviewers to assist with the 2024-25 Out-of-School Time Grant Application selections.

Functions of a grant reviewer will include, but are not limited to:

• Thoroughly review each request for proposals (RFP)
• Score each application on its written merits only and based on the rubric provided
• Provide feedback on each section in the application
• Maintain strict confidentiality in the review process
• Commit to scoring a minimum of five applications
• Submit all scores and notes to MiLEAP by October 18, 2024
