All Michigan public libraries are eligible to purchase from the 2016 TRIG Bid Contract for hardware and devices through the Michigan Department of Education.  For a spreadsheet of all of the catalog items, go to http://22itrig.org/activities/device-purchasing/spring-2016-bid-information/spring-2016-purchasing-info/ and click on the spreadsheet link in the 2nd paragraph.

Considerable dollars can be saved on desktops, laptops, mobile devices and accessories. Only 7 libraries participated last year but they saved almost $60,000. If you’re considering purchasing hardware, consider this opportunity.

1.      You must have a SPOT account on the REMC SAVE Bid Project website. If you need instructions on setting up an account, go to How to Register.

2.      Orders must be placed by uploading a Purchase Order in SPOT. For information on purchasing via SPOT, go to How to Purchase.

3.      NEW IN 2016! You must verify the number of devices purchased through SPOT. More information coming soon on this requirement.

Watch http://22itrig.org/activities/device-purchasing/spring-2016-bid-information/ for updates as they develop. A summary of the value-add items is posted near the bottom of this page and personal purchase program information will be posted as soon as the vendors make it available.

Any questions should be sent to spot@remc.org. Happy Shopping!
