The Harrison Township Public Library in the beautiful Boat Town, USA has 2 full-time open positions. Both positions are newly created after voters approved additional funding in November 2022. We eagerly search for an energetic full-time Youth Librarian that can plan and implement engaging programs for youth of all ages from birth to teens. Early literacy is an area of particular focus. HTPL is also looking for a full-time adult librarian with savvy social skills and an awareness of popular trends to help us organize, implement, and market programs that serve the various interests in our community. Both positions offer a broad range of duties. The primary functions are related to collection development, outreach, and programming for fun events like Trivia Night, story time, craft segments, and even on-the-go fun like take and make kits.
