[Michlib-l] Minors graduating to adults with lost items/unpaid fines

Hello, I could use a little collective wisdom here. How do you deal with patrons who registered for their first card as a minor and are now an adult, but their account still has outstanding transactions on it (fines, overdues, or lost materials)?
