The Michigan eLibrary has pulled together a letter that contains great information for Educators, Parents, and Students about summer resources available to them at no cost! We are asking everyone to distribute a letter from the Michigan eLibrary team to all Michigan families because the resources can help prevent the "summer slide" and also help with test prep. Below is the email I sent out late last week. It contains links to a letter that schools can email out to all of their families, or print a hard copy and send home. Families can find resources to help ease the summer slide, read eBooks, conduct research, create reading lists, and prepare for college, careers, and high stakes tests like the SATⓇ. To help promote the resources, some of our content providers have created short videos that highlight their database(s) and how students can use them over the summer.
