In July of this year, the Friends of RHPL nominated the Rochester Hills Public Library for a Sunrise Pinnacle Award, one of the most encompassing and prestigious awards in the Metro Detroit area in the category of “Outstanding Community Service”.  Created by the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Sunrise Pinnacle Awards event offers a way to honor area businesses and leaders for their innovation, success and contributions to the quality of life in the community.  This morning at the Pinnacle Award’s breakfast, Library Trustee, Douglas Tull accepted the award for the Library for “Outstanding Community Service”.  The Library is proud to receive this prestigious award.
