Are you a new library director looking for guidance, or hoping to step into the role of library director but want a mentor who can answer the hard questions about the job?

Consider registering for MLA’s Surviving and Thriving as a Public Library Director program! Registration is closing soon and spaces are still available.

The cohort is limited to 10 people who will receive 1-on-1 coaching and support from national leader and longtime library director Maxine Bleiweis.

The program consists of a half-day in-person meeting in Ann Arbor, plus three webinar workshops in addition to direct support from Maxine.

Some testimonials from past attendees include:

“Maxine really did a great job boosting my confidence in my new role as director. I also appreciated her approach to library service as I am all about the patron experience and she confirmed that I am making some positive changes here at my library.”

“Maxine was very knowledgeable, has great examples and experience, but never came off as a 'know it all.' She was wonderful.”

“I felt it was extremely valuable and loved everything about it.”
