Hello,
The Suburban Library Cooperative Board is happy to announce Kathy McKinney as the new Director of SLC. Kathy brings 27 years of library experience to the position. She has a well rounded career of eclectic roles within libraries. In her latest position as Assistant Director of Mount Clemens public library she also served as Interim Director for 10 months. We are excited to add Kathy's enthusiasm, passion, and advocacy for libraries to the SLC beginning in March.
When she is not working or advocating for libraries, you can find Kathy at concerts, sporting events, or reading the latest book release. One of Kathy's first projects will be to develop the current Strategic Plan. Feel free to reach out to her, SLC staff, or any of the SLC board members if you have any questions.
