Hello all,

No heavy lifting this week, just mention of 4 tools in MeL that up to now, you might have overlooked – Print Page, Share This, Like This, and Report a Problem with this Resource.  Print Page is found in the upper right corner below Help (everywhere except the MeL.org homepage).  Clicking on it sets up a printer friendly version of the entire contents of the page you’re at not just the visible screen, with no copy/paste necessary.  Share This is found at the end of the description of every database and website contained in the list of MeL resources and offers the usual assortment of online tools that you can use to send the link for the resource you’re at to followers/friends/patrons, etc.   Like this is a simple click to add your vote to those of other users who have found the resource useful – it updates instantly.  Report a Problem with this Resource is found by clicking on “More” in each resource description and sets up an email for sending feedback to MeL staff about any problems you encounter with our resource records.

MeL Minutes are brought to you by the Library of Michigan.  Want more information on MeL?  Stay tuned for next week’s MeL Minute available on many Michigan library listservs, email us at contact@mel.org or visit mel.org.  We encourage you to share MeL Minutes with your public service colleagues.
