The 2017 United Dairy Industry of Michigan’s Summer Feeding Community grant is now available!  The Summer Food Service Program was created to ensure that children in lower-income areas could continue to receive nutritious meals during school vacations. Hunger does not take a summer vacation. The grant is for reimbursement of resources, equipment, staffing, etc.  Grant amounts range from $250-$5,000.  Deadline to apply is March 10, 2017.  Please go to www.MilkMeansMore.org or see the attached flyer for details (if you receive MichLib-L as a digest, go to www.michigan.gov/summerreading, the flyer can be found under “Summer Food Program”).
