
[image: Inline image 1] The Friends of Michigan Libraries (FOML) would like to thank all those who participated in our recent workshops at the Canton Public Library on April 3 for library Friends and on April 4 for library Trustees. Looking ahead, FOML will be offering trustee-oriented sessions at the Rural Libraries Conference on Mackinac Island on Thursday, May 1, and two general sessions for all types of library staff on Friday, May 2. These sessions will be conducted by Sarah Ann Long who was the presenter and trainer at the Friday Canton Public Library workshop. Following the Rural Libraries Conference two FOML workshops will be hosted at the Kentwood Branch Library (Kent District Library) on Thursday, September 11, for library Friends, and Friday, September 12, for library Trustees.
