
We're not discontinuing yet either, but recently made these changes: Reduced our number of checkouts allowed per patron Reduced our instant borrows cost limit Set a monthly budget cap in our Hoopla account We have had patrons call and ask about their borrowing, and so far everyone has been very understanding about our overall budget limitations. We just implemented these changes at the beginning of this month, so we shall see... He did an analysis and found that the reduction in the cost of instant borrows will make a significant difference (the last bullet).
