Are you interested in finding out more about the MeLCat Visiting Patron service?  Essentially, it’s MeLCat In-Person and it provides the ability for a library to offer reciprocal borrowing on the spot to patrons of other MeLCat libraries.  If you would like to find out more attend the webinar scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 15 from 1-2pm EST.

 

This webinar is open to any Michigan library wanting to know more about MeLCats Visiting Patron service. Visiting Patron, also known as Reciprocal Borrowing, is an optional service provided by MeLCat to give patrons of participating libraries the option to get immediate access to the materials they need. The policies and general procedures of the Visiting Patron service will be discussed in this session.

Registration Information

It is highly recommended that all registrants register for this workshop at least SEVEN DAYS PRIOR to the workshop date. If you register after that, you must additionally send an email to training@mcls.org stating that you have registered past the deadline. You will receive a general email confirmation immediately upon successfully registering for this workshop. All registered attendees will receive an additional email with WebEx login information approximately one week prior to the 1st class date. If you do not receive an invitation to the meeting by noon of the day prior, please email training@mcls.org.
