The Library serves a culturally diverse population of over 120,000 with a main library and three branches and a budget of approximately $4 million. Proven skills in community outreach, restructuring library services, managing and motivating staff, innovating, and financial acuity are paramount. A shrinking tax base will require the director to be flexible and visionary in providing needed services for the future. Qualifications: ALA accredited Master's Degree in Library Science and a preferred 8 years experience in a public library in an administrative or supervisory capacity. Salary: Starting salary negotiable DOQ within range of $75,000 - $80,000 with an excellent benefit package.
