Hello!
On April 2, 2025, legislation amending the Youth Employment Standards Act (YESA) went into effect. YESA is the Michigan law governing the hiring and employment or volunteer services of minors aged under 18.
Some of the changes are in effect, and some (including the biggest changes) will not go into effect until October of 2026.
On Friday, April 25, 2025 @ 10:30am ET, Attorney Mike Blum from Foster, Swift, Collins and Smith will explain the amendments and provide tips on how to prepare to comply with the changes.
The webinar is free. To register, please use this link -
