Canton Public Library is looking for an Intern who finds joy in connecting with others to join our team and forward our mission. At CPL, we are passionate about building the next generation of library professionals, and have developed a robust internship program
where students can connect their education to practical experiences with professional mentors. At CPL, Interns build skills essential to public library service:

Creating enriching and meaningful experiences for library visitors of all ages through programs, events, activities and more.

Curating collections that support the informational, educational and recreational information needs of the community.

Connecting patrons to the information needed to pursue their best life using research expertise and problem-solving skills.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an ALA-accredited graduate program. Successful candidates for this position are curious, possess strong critical thinking skills and a passion for public service.
This internship is expected to start in April-May 2026.
