About Nikhat J. Ghouse

Associate Librarian for the Social Sciences & Coordinator, Diversity Alliance Residency Program at American University, Washington, D.C.

Nikhat is an Organization Development Consultant working with libraries and academia. Nikhat specializes in organization development, change management, strategic planning, diversity, equity, & inclusion (EDI), leadership training, and coaching.


Nikhat completed her Master of Science in Organization Development from American University. She earned her MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh and her BA in History from Cleveland State University. Nikhat is an alumna of the 2011-2012 Association of Research Libraries’ Leadership & Career Development Program (LCDP) and also completed a Professional Certificate in Cultural Competence from the Institute for Cross-Cultural Management at the Florida Institute of Technology.
