The Pinckney Library cordially invites you, your friends, and family to attend a "Basic Composting Demonstration Workshop for Busy Individuals - A Hands On Presentation with Master Composter, Lisa Perschke" at the library (125 Putnam St., Pinckney, MI 48169) on Saturday, September 13 from 11am to 2pm.
Description: Do you want to learn more about composting but you don’t have time to commit to a multi-week master composting program? This is a basic composting hands-on workshop for busy individuals who would like to gain more knowledge about the basics of composting. This class consists of 1 1/2 hours of in-class instruction on various compost bins and 1 1/2 of outdoor hands-on demonstrations on how to set up an effective and inexpensive pallet compost bin.
Ages: 18 and older (maximum of 20 participants)
