Lansing Community College is seeking a collaborative, student focused Adjunct Reference and Instruction Librarian. This position provides in person and virtual reference assistance, teaches information literacy skills, participates in collection development, serves as library liaison for departments assigned, and develops content for the library website, online tutorials and research guides.

Required qualifications:

· Master’s degree in Library Information Science (MLS) from an ALA accredited program

· Prior experience providing reference services

· Strong knowledge of print and electronic resources

· Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence

· Demonstrated ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds

Hours: 28 hours per week with 1 evening and some weekends

Hourly rate: $20.00 - $22.40
