Hi All,
I’m sending this information out to everyone on behalf of the Michigan High-Speed Internet Office (MIHI). Please feel free to pass this along to others who might benefit from attending.
Local Leadership of the Upper Peninsula and Northern Lower Peninsula,
I would like to personally invite you, those you serve, and others from your organization to a special meeting hosted by Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist II and the Michigan High-Speed Internet Office.
We are gathering community leaders together to talk about the critical issue of high-speed internet connectivity and digital equity.
On Saturday, February 18th from 10AM-Noon at The Northern Center, Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist II and the Michigan High-Speed Internet Office (MIHI) will be bringing together local leaders,
residents, and others to discuss the internet and connectivity needs of your community and region as part of our statewide MI Connected Future listening tour. This meeting will help our office and the State of Michigan better understand the needs of
your community and help us decide how to deploy an estimated $1.6 billion in federal funds to connect every home and business in the state. Event details are below.
