Jonathan Rand is wonderful and you will have no trouble attracting a crowd!  In fact, you will have just the opposite challenge - determining the cut-off point.  People will come from beyond your service area to see him, unless you choose to establish some restrictions in attendance.  His fee may seem a bit pricey, but his program is well worth it.  Our Friends Group helped with the cost.

We ended up selling tickets for $1.00 as a fundraiser and presenting his program in our Civic Auditorium rather than our Meeting Room.  I think we offered the tickets to our patrons first for a week or two, and then opened it up to the public at large.

His contact person works closely with you.  Check out www.americanchillers.com for more details.  He usually features photos of his visits on his website as well as an itinerary.

Jonathan comes prepared and interacts very well with both children and parents.  He is passionate about reading and writing, and his enthusiasm comes through in his presentation.

He will sign books afterwards, but I do not know the current guidelines.
