MSU’s Michigan Political Leadership Program
invites you to attend our newest
Public Engagement Program.
The Institute for Public Policy and Social Research
will hold three public engagement events throughout 2017.
The “Engage Project”, made possible through the generous donations of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, will bring together community residents and regional leaders to address
important regional issues and recruit political leaders, including MPLP applicants.
The inaugural program will commence
June 16, 2017, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel-Ft. Shelby, 525 West Lafayette Blvd., Detroit, MI 48226.
The Institute for Public Policy and Social Research Program “Engage Detroit”
will kick off with the first session addressing the issue of “Family Financial Security”.
Following a panel discussion, attendees will be invited to participate in round table exchanges on becoming more involved in local and state politics.
Attendance is a must for those interested in
becoming politically engaged at the local and state levels and for those who want to hear from area experts.
Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
