Cromaine District Library in Hartland, MI is hiring a full-time Youth Services Librarian. Position: Full time; 40 hours per week, including evening and weekend hours Reports to: Youth and Teen Services Manager Wages: MLS Librarian: $25 /hour (or more depending on qualifications) Currently enrolled MLS student: $21/hour (or more depending on qualifications) SUMMARY: Cromaine’s Department of Youth & Teen Services is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, organized individual with a strong commitment to public service focusing on services to children. An ideal candidate should be creative, have an awareness of youth literature and popular reading trends, and be excited to grow, learn, and share knowledge in a team-based environment. This Librarian is a core member of the Youth Services team and works daily reference desk shifts in the Youth department, in addition to collaborating with the team to provide general services and resources.
