Hi Clare, I was curious to know if libraries get specific insurance for their Library of Things collections? I was told by my insurance agent that we would not be covered if we lend "dangerous non-traditional" items such as tools, kayaks, etc. I reached out on the director's listserv and I only had one Director respond back saying that they did not get extra coverage. In fact, Niles Public Library only has a policy and a liability waiver for their LoT collection, which I anticipate having too. I was also wondering if you had a general liability waiver that other places use? I look forward to hearing from you.
