We're gearing up for a genre merging project later in the summer, where we're planning to merge our genred adult fiction collection (mystery, romance, sci-fi, and fiction) into just adult fiction. While we're moving a significant chunk of our collection, we're going to do a little rearranging to make the rest of our collection's organization more logical as well.

I had asked opinions on this previously. Now I'm asking for practical advice. Anyone who has done this, or a similar large scale rearranging project, do you have any suggestions to help me plan? How did you get started? If you had to do it again, what would you do differently? What should I know before getting started? I appreciate any and all advice.

(Note- we're planning on closing for a week for this)
