Position:         Custodian– Part-time 

Hours:            Up to 20 hours per week  

Shifts:             4–5-hour shifts including some afternoons, evenings and weekends 

Pay Rate:       $14 per hour  

Reports to:     Library Director  

 

 

Qualifications: 

• Must be 18 years or older  
• High school or GED equivalent  
• Be available to work 3 to 5 days a week  
• Reliable transportation 
• Previous custodial experience desired. 
• Successfully pass a background check & pre-employment screening.  

 

Primary Job Duties: 

• Cleaning restrooms 
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping 
• Collecting trash 
• Wiping surfaces 
• Other similar tasks as assigned 

 

Physical Demands: 

Must be able to sit, bend, and/or walk for extended periods of time.  Must be able to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
